    Hi all,

    Since we have people here from both sides of the pond I thought it would be interesting to find out what TV programmes people like to watch and whether or not there were similar tastes no matter where you come from.

    I think we probably get a better idea of what you guys get in the US as we do get a lot of your shows here, whereas I don't think you get quite so many of ours.

    So, what do you like? Soaps, Drama, Documentary, Natural History, Films, Comedy?

    On this side of the pond, my hubby and I love watching 'So you think you can dance?', History channel, 'Scrubs'.. as for your TV... Love AB FAB, Coupling, and Graham Norton... he makes me laugh- like milk out of the nose laughs lol

    Well, since "Queer as Folk" went off I just watch the news and usually have the music channels on. I will watch the odd sporting event (mostly rugby or Aussy rules) if the uniforms are short enough.

    I found another one I loooooovvveee... wait... two i love!
    Avatar, probably one of the best anime I have ever seen.
    And Ninja Warrior.
    Seems that is all I really watch right now with the boys being so ... boyish lol.

    Hiya Lynne,

    For pure escapism, I watch films, mainly Thrillers. If I need cheering up, I watch The Vicar of Dibley and/or My Family, One Foot In The Grave, Jeeves and Woster - usually repeats, I believe <g>. Documentaries: Archaeology, anything to do with Past or Future happenings to the earth. Or, I listen to music and as to what sort of music depends on how I feel, because I tend to like most of it.

    Now i am watching Othello drama written by William Shakespeare. The work revolves around four central characters: Othello, his wife Desdemona, his lieutenant Cassio, and his ensign Iago. Because of its varied themes — racism, love, jealousy and betrayal - the play remains relevant to the present day, and is still quite popular. I like this very much.

    Take home chef FTW!!! A cute guy, who pays for the groceries and cooks? My husband says that if he ever sneaks up on me, it is all good!

    I am now addicted to Ramsey's stuff now too lol.

    And I love How clean is your house?, and You are what you eat;

    Ohh... and Clean House!

    Now, if I could only have the time to watch all these shows!
