If you had to choose between a wonderful romantic relationship that would end after only a year, or a so-so relationship that would last your entire life, which one would you choose?

There is a story about a young couple, married shortly after graduation. They were so in love, people said you could see it radiating from them. One night, shortly before their 1st anniversary, a drunk driver ended their fairy tale. The young bride, who just found out she was pregnant with their first child, said that had she known the way this would end, she wouldn't have changed a thing.

As for me, well, I've often been accused of wanting it all. And you know what, it's true! And I deserve it :goodvibes:.

Drunk drivers make me so mad. How dare they ruin the lives of others?

As for wanting it all, yes, you deserve it. I've seen so many people that "settle" for one reason or another. There always seems to be a kind of resignation about them - like "Oh well, this is all there is, make the best of it". Other's settle for less than they really want simply because they don't want to be alone.

In the end you just have to do what's right for *you* whether that's waiting for the "right one" or settling for somethng less.

It's like that old song "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with". I can't live like that at this point in my life and after all I've been through.

I have to agree with Tegan. Nothing wrong with lukewarm some of the times, but why live with out passion too ??
