    Royal Ascot 2006

This year's Ascot reveals a pick-and-mix approach to chic couture, from empire lines and peep-toe shoes to puffball skirts and flats

I gotta say I'm not a big fan of the flats and skirts look. A long breezy skirt and flip flops in warmer weather is one thing, but the ballet flats and a dressier skirt tend to make women look shorter and their legs look heavier.

I just bought myself some really cool tights with patterns. I like the patterns because I tend to dress monochromatic most of the time and the pattern on the tights adds a little ZIP.

Now if I can just find some skirts that hang above my knee, yet don't reveal my butt, I'll be a happy camper.
