How has society created a culture of painfully, dangerously underweight women? Is there something wrong with the way we're educating people today that they grow up with such a low self esteem that a sideways glance, bad hair-day picture, an off-hand comment can send them spiralling down this path?

Newspapers and the media in general often sensationalise things to make a profit but looking at this TV programme "Extreme Skinny Celebrities" makes for some pretty scary viewing.

How can normal, sane women become so easily brainwashed into losing so much weight they're on the verge of dying or dying far earlier than they should.

What are your thoughts and how can we educate young girls to believe in themselves just as they are?
